current health crisis – the COVID-19 pandemic? You are also assigned to help the Philippine
government in responding to the pandemic. Enumerate series of plans, actions, or programs and
model to resolve the pandemic (which department gets to work on certain committees, how many
and where the budget will be allocated). You may create flowcharts if necessary. 25 points
How would research help in solving our current health crisis – the COVID-19 pandemic?

Albert Szent Gyorgyi. The world experienced a lot of pandemics recorded in history like the Spanish
Flu in 1918, Asian Flu in 1956, Flu pandemic in 1968 and HIV/AIDS pandemic in 2005.
The pandemic we are all facing today which is Covid-19, Is hard to us specially to our
economy.
We just all want a vaccine to finish this pandemic . And aside from social distancing and
staying at home, I believe that research is another factor that will save us. Because research have a
big role in our society.
The vaccine that every country in the world needs to be saved from the Covid-19 virus,was
from research. Alsoanother contribution of research in this pandemic it will help us study about our
economy and what is happening in outr country. And it also help us solve the problem we are facing
right now.

PhilHealth to cover expenses of COVID-19 patients with unpaid

contributions. This means that all medical expenses, including
medicines and doctor’s fee, will be shouldered by the state health
insurer.

DOH (Department of Health) should be the one who shoulders the

testing kits, or swab test for the poor. Because as I saw in the news most
of the poor don’t have any money to pay for the swab testing and I think it
will help to resolve the pandemic if DOH will help for the swab testing for
the poor.

The PNP (Philippines National Police) who will keep our frontliners,
testing booths and community safe.

The City Barangays are the one who will control each barangays in our
country, they will be our eyes for our barangay. And barangay will also
help to implement quarantine protocols.
