movements.
3. What do you believe is the greatest strength of each corporate sustainability report?
The greatest strength of San Miguel Food and Beverage, Inc.’s CSR is its transparency
on presenting their commitment in executing their responsibilities through the Handog program
that has five subcategories, mainly, Karunungan, Kalusugan, Komunidad, Kalikasan, and
Kabuhayan. Primarily, they have written brief and clear descriptions with their activities for each
of the subcategories, and they have honestly included in their report the results of their
initiatives. And fortunately, the outcomes of their value of malasakit has grown an impact in the
environment, and with the lives of the people that were covered by the program. On the other
hand, Jollibee Foods Corporation CSR’s greatest strength would be the adequate information
and creativity of its presentation which made it appealing to browse and read. They have
comprised adequate pictures of their activities and even documented the stories whom they
reached for help. And that documentary showcased how these individuals were grateful that
Jollibee has been continually making a difference within their lives.

4. What do you believe is the greatest weakness of each corporate sustainability report?
With San Miguel Food and Beverage, Inc.’s CSR, its greatest weakness would be the
lack of presenting pictures of their activities, which could potentially strengthen their claims of
the results of their philanthropic movements. Whereas, for Jollibee Foods Corporation’s CSR, its
weakness would be the inability to provide in-depth information with regards to the results of
their programs. If not improved, these weaknesses could cause skepticism among its
stakeholders, especially with its investors.

5. Assume that you are able to provide the executive team at each company with one
suggestion for improving its next corporate sustainability report. Briefly explain your
suggestion for each company's executive team.
For San Miguel Food and Beverage, Inc., they could provide photographs for each of the
subcategories under their Handog program. The documentation should be in an organized and
creative manner, and there should be accurate and brief descriptions. With this, it could aid their
corporate sustainability report to be more appealing. Also, this is to prove the effectiveness and
truthfulness of their activities for the people and the environment. While for Jollibee Foods
Corporation, I would suggest that they should also consider the evaluations of its stakeholders
with regards to its responsibilities. It is for the Jollibee Group Foundation to gain wider
perspective and better implementation of suitable programs or activities upon improving the
lives of the people. Hence, it could gradually eliminate the social problems that halt the
unprivileged individuals to obtain the necessary development and growth.
