· Starting the lesson with a video which have to get student’s attention.
· Using visual aid which are pictures to show students meaning for key vocab and
multiplication equation.
· Using online learning activity that worked very with the students.
· I was achieving my lesson goal, in end of lesson students will be able to write a
repeated addition equation and multiplication equation using repeated addition.
· At the beginning of the class, students were engaged and motivated with the
video, all students were listening to my instruction, there were no misbehaving.
After looking at the video students, we move to answer repeated addition sentences,
students engage with me and answer after that I give them other example and I ask them how
many groups there are ,I call one students to answer and call anther students to give me a
multiplication equation. Furthermore I wrote a equation and ask the students to draw a
groups, how many groups they going to draw and how many dots they going to but in each
group.
Why do you think the student responded the way that they did?
· I was following the Gradual release model of responsibility. The lesson was step
by step. (I do) Firstly, I started the lesson by introducing the meaning of
Multiplication as Repeated Addition. I have provided some examples. Presenting
pictures is the key to students' understanding. I present a video that has some
examples of Multiplication as Repeated Addition. Secondly (I do you help), I had the
activity of how to write repeated addition equation. Thirdly, (you do I help) the
following activity was students have to look at the groups and how many in each
group them writ the equation. Fourthly, (you do it together), when I opened the
online game, their students were answering all the questions. Fifthly (you do it
alone), students were able to complete the last assessment individually which was
online game.
5. How well did your teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding?
· Students before the lesson were able to Multiply 2 numbers in and add 3-digit
numbers.
· I have engaged the students by asking them some questions. Such as, how we
going to write the equation, how many groups should I do, how many apples in
each group? look at these group how I am going to write my repeated addition
equation. There is other way to explain this. How I am going to write my
Multiplication equations.
· yes, my goal was to achieve my Outcome goal, time management in the begging of
lesson I put my timer 45 min ,because on period 45 min ,but there was confusing I start my
lesson early 20 min ,than I finish my lesson early 20 min before, because in the schedule
have double math class that ,so I move to plan B ,which I play with them online games I give
them extra activities.
· Was punctual.
· Online game.

9. what I need to improve in my future lesson plan ,I will plan more activity in
cause they finish early, and make sure all students participating, and call students
from name list, Also give them clear instructions if they doing activity ,step by
step for example first you have to Click at the link ,it will take to the quizzes to
start your activity you have to click at start ,if anyone have problem share screen
so we can found the solution.
