The course deals with the study of different types of function, their graphs, and
their derivatives. It also covers the application of differentiation to maxima and minima
problems and time rates problem.

At the end of the course, the student should be able:
1. Evaluate the derivatives of the different types of function using the different formulas
for derivatives.
2. Acquire the knowledge and skill in solving the minima and maxima problems.
3. Apply the differentiation methods and techniques in solving integration problems and
