Introduction: PROPOSED ESPORT PALAWAN

Unlike the majority of traditional sports leagues that are physical activity, esports had multiple

activities within the sports. 1The concept of video games has also changed. Instead of playing video

games recreationally, people are starting to play video games competitively in tournaments that closely

resemble sports competition. This review paper will attempt to build the theoretical framework that

eSports should be considered a sport and be recognized by The National Collegiate Athletic Association

(NCAA). 2Esport is a leisure and recreational activity, it recognized as sports when In 2019, it become a

part of the SEA Games in Manila, with the inclusion of six titles – Dota 2, StarCraft II, Hearthstone,

TEKKEN 7, Arena of Valor and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. eSport is an important way of reaching

young people and a vitally important market for media businesses, game producers The fact that esport

is an income-generating in the country. Research by data analysts Statista has estimated a global eSport

audience of 385 million. And market intelligence provider Newzoo’s research has suggested that eSport

revenues will reach USD 696 million by 2017 and USD 1.5 billion by 2020.

Video and mobile games are not escapist distraction. They’re the world’s most participatory

spectator sport. Esports are a global phenomenon, It promises to continue demanding the best of each

generation of technology. ESports help communities embrace the latest innovative technology and offer a

route to STEM education and the best opportunities of tomorrow. My project will incorporate physically

and mentally challenging activities that encourage the growth and advancement of the community.

Good Day Sir/Ma’am,

I am an undergraduate student of the Bachelor of Science in Architecture at

Palawan State University, currently conducting my thesis entitled about ESPORT PALAWAN,
a requirement in Architectural Design 9 (AR 51/s Design) This 1st semester, S.Y. 2020-2021.
The objective is to interview and gather data that would be helpful in my thesis research.

My proposal Project objectives will be :

1. To provide a sole Gaming Arena / stadium for Local and international

Competitions.
2. To establish a physical development Activity like Virtual reality like Omni by
virtuix, not just video and mobile games tournaments.
3. To provide workshop spaces intended for collegiate esports workshop, markets,
and meetings for esports events.
4. Establish and provide educational facilities for game training, game organizations
and game courses such as Bachelor of Science in Esport and Bachelor of
Science in Digital Game Design and Development program issued by CHED
CMO-02-2014 2
5. To provide broadcasting and live flatforms stage for streaming services as it
becomes the Generate Revenue from Live Streams
6. Provide a space for display areas for game products, awards and technologies
specially for Exhibits and rentals.
7. To provide a good design of proposal Esport Facility attributes the cultural
relevance of Palawan as an architectural concept.

This outcome of the study will be used to include useful knowledge on the development
of relax, enjoyment and sports. The proposal will give impact for tourist attraction especially it
will be the first Esport facility in Palawan.

In line with this, I would like to ask for the following on your good office/agency.

• Will you support your local agency if it will construct an income generating project like
esport in Palawan and in the country as well?
• Palawan is known to be the safest haven in the country because of its safety in
occurrence of tsunami and earthquakes. Are you in favor of constructing it in Palawan?
• What can you say about this project and the probable result of this?
• Personal Statement about Esport Palawan.

• Future plans for event tournaments
