NARRATIVE REPORT (ECARD 2019)

On Friday, 23rd of August 2019, we had our first ECARD in Cagayan de Oro
National High School-Senior High School for the S.Y. 2019-2020. But before the ECARD
started, the second GPTA assembly was first held in the covered court which was led by
Sir Saudi Revira. The meeting officially started at 9:06 A.M., with parents & some
teachers in attendance.

The first to speak on stage was Ma’am Rolla. The most important part of her
speech was the concerns related to students in the school, such as being late in school,
not having proper haircut for boys, not wearing complete uniform, etc. She had
informed the parents to remind their children about the said problems so that they
could change for the better.

After the speech of Ma’am Rolla, Mr. Ernesto Molina, the GPTA President, was
the next in line. The most significant part of his speech was informing the parents to
always support their children for this has a huge, positive impact in their studies. Lack of
support from the parents have negative effects on students. He also said that the
students in this generation are very fortunate because they have a decent, modern, &
polished classrooms and schools unlike in the past, where they have no proper &
unstable classrooms which makes their life as a student hard & complicated.

Lastly, before the GPTA meeting finally ended, there were some performances
presented by a student from G11 ABM-B, Ms. Mia Kathleen Salapang, & Mr. Brian
Guerra. Finally, the GPTA assembly was officially concluded by Sir Revira at 9:57 A.M.,
marking the beginning of the ECARD activity in each respective classroom.
