REGION VII – CENTRAL VISAYAS
An excerpt from the minutes of the GPTA Meeting in the Grade 1 Hope Classroom of Himensulan Elementary
School, Himensulan, San Francisco, Cebu. The School GPTA Meeting started by the emcee Ms. Marie F.
Muaña following the flow of program stated below.
I. INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITY
The urgent General PTA Meeting started with an opening prayer led by Maam Jessel R. Cerina. It
was followed by sir Joseph R. Nudalo. He was able to emphasize that every parents should warmly and
positively welcome the changes that will happen along the way. He welcome the presence of all the
parents who eagerly attended the meeting.
III. GRADUATION
Maam Jessel R. Cerina asked parents if they are happy for the face to face graduation. She said that
the pupils’ attire would be the same as on the day of their pictorial. Parents are not allowed to stay long
in the stage as the candidates for graduation received the diploma so as their will be a smooth
transition. They should not worry cause parents and other visitors can take pictures in the photo booth.
150 contribution for Kindergarten and Grade 6 pupil. Deadline for the contribution will be on June 22,
2021 on Wednesday. Every respective parents should give it to their grade level advisers.
V. OTHER MATTERS
The School head reminded the parents for the schedule of recognition at 3 PM and 4 PM for the
graduation. He also announced that the opening of classes will be on August 22, 2022 for the next
school year. Every parents should join the Brigada Eskwela 1 week before the opening of classes to
follow the proper flow of enrollment in every grade level. Parents should also make sure to clear any
obligatory compensation for the previous year so teachers will not shoulder/ pay the contribution on
their behalf.
VI. PLEDGE
The school head encouraged parents to open their hearts for their donation intended for
baccalaureate and graduation food. Maam Janine Revillas also suggested that they can also
contact to their grade level adviser for any pledge if ever they are only shy to pledge in front of
others and in case they are really willing to share.
VII. RECOGNITION
Maam Marissa B. Saagundo announced to parents that puplis classified as with honors got the
average of 90-94. The high honors are those pupils with an average of 95-97 and lastly the highest
honors with a total average of 98-100. On the other side, the pupils who got the final average of 89
down will receive an achiever award.
Maam Marissa also shared that the entrance will be the stair along the road while the exit will be
on the left side just beside the Marcos Building.
