This week was spent editing
This week I have started to edit my short film. I think it’s going
okay I feel as though I have improved my editing a lot since the
start of the first year.
There is only one thing that I struggled slightly with when editing
and that was finding some music that would work well with the
actions being displayed on screen. When finding the music, I was
going off certain moods or genres such as mystery or even a
sense of darkness in the song. I then found it easier to stop
limiting my search and instead look under already created
playlists. I found some music I think will work as I was looking
for something that would go with the interrogation section of my
short film as I want it to be intense for the audience.
I have understood how to create rolling credits I went on
YouTube to find a tutorial and it has worked out really well it has
helped my production to look slightly more professional with the
rolling credits. I have also learned how to but crop bars on the
top and bottom of my production using an adjustable layer which
has made my production more cinematic for the viewer.
I am dedicating the last week which will be week 10 which
would have been the pitch to do any improvements that I need to
do on my website that can secure me that top grade.
Well due to the coronavirus pandemic I am having to work from
home anyway so I am technically doing all my work outside of
lesson which will be the improvements on LO1 and LO2.
