Negative form past simple with regular and Irregular verbs. It´s very simple.
Subject + did not/ didn´t + verb in the present + complement. For example:

I didn´t eat octopus in this restaurant. It didn´t …..


You did not study for the exam. We didn´t …….
He didn´t write a letter for you. They didn´t ……..
She didn´t cook last night in my home.

Interrogative form past simple.


Did I do? Did we dance? Did he play?
Did you make? Did they practice? Did she study?

Examples:
 Did you do your homework last night? No, I didn´t.
 Did she travel to Medellin last month? Yes, she did.
