SW 280 High pressure hoses for hydraulic tools

As you are aware, hydraulic tools are used for disassembly/assembly of certain components on
the above engine types, i.e. cylinder heads, connecting rods, main bearing caps, etc.

A high pressure hydraulic oil pump is connected to the hydraulic jacks by flexible high pressure
hoses.

The highest specifications for material choice and manufacture have been applied to these hoses.
However, damage and wear can occur to these hoses during operation due to the extensive
use to which they are subjected.
These damages can cause a failure of the hydraulic hose which can lead to escape of high
pressure oil resulting in a danger to personnel.

A visual inspection of the hydraulic tools and, in particular, the flexible HP. hoses, must be carried
out at regular intervals to check for deterioration of components and material.
Consideration is to be given to safe working practices at all times in accordance with the strict
safety standards.

IN CASE OF DOUBT, ALWAYS RENEW THE FLEXIBLE HOSES!!
