This task comprises of product-based assessment methods in a


simulated work environment.

It has been designed to evaluate your ability to:

business goals, and policies and procedures.
Based on your position description (and following the organisation’s business plans, goals,
and applicable policies and procedures), establish four (4) personal and four (4) team
goals):

plan, support staff commitment and manage priorities.

9. Create a plan to maintain an appropriate work-life balance when implementing the work
plan developed in Task 2.2B. The plan will contribute to ensuring that stress is effectively
managed, and health attended.

C. Measure and maintain personal performance

Assume that the following has occurred:

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, the Café must close to the public for four weeks, only take away and
delivery orders will be available.

 Reflect on the situation and consider:


o The work goals and KPIs you set-up for yourself and the team
o The organisation’s plans and policy and procedures
o The performance goals of your role

Write an email to the Managing Director and:

 Present a plan to minimise the impact of the situation on the business.


 Decide on how many staff you will need working in the shop for the next four weeks.
 Evaluate if any goal or KPI should be revisited. Provide a list of updated goals and KPIs,
explaining why they changed.
 Explain how you could maintain or improve sales through operating via take-away and delivery
only.
 Inform the Managing Director of any WHS consideration related to Covid 19.

Task 2.2 Set and meet own work priorities

A. Work Plan

Consider the scenario described in Task 2.1C and your plan to manage it (refer to the email you sent
