My name is Dan Melton Anthony A. Hizon and I was born on the 14 th of June.
2000 in Lucena, Quezon. My Mother’s name is Christine Melette A. Hizon and my
Father’s name is Dandy C. Hizon. They are both in ther late 40’s. I have one
brother named Dan Matthew A. Hizon and a sister named Dana Mezette A. Hizon.
My father works abroad while the remaining family member live in Lucena City.
Since I am studying in Southern Luzon State University, I sleep on my dormitory
in Lucban on weekdays and sleeps in Lucena when weekends
We lived in the compound with our relative. Since my father work away from us
our relatives provide support whenever we need help. I was the oldest child of my
parents. My father always says that the eldest child needs to be responsible to be a
good example for younger siblings. The responsible of the eldest child is to
provide support to the decisions of the family.
My mother have diabetes mellitus since her early 20’s and the disease worsen over
time. With her sedentary lifestyle and poor diet, her disease is weakened her body.
My sister is still young so my relatives help my mother on raising her. My mother
insist that my brother and I will go home as early as possible so that we finish the
choir. By my 1st year college, I choose Southern Luzon State University as my
tertiary school and a choice Bachelor in Science on Nursing so that I can monitor
the condition of my mother and my father. I was shock on the amount of things
that a student need to learn.
My respect on nurses all around the world is still growing. The respect even grow
stronger when the pandemic happen. The pandemic also affect me on all aspect of
myself. Still believe that I am still in the right path. I am now in my 3 rd year of
college on its 2nd semester
