EDUC 102 - THE TEACHING PROFESSION

For my own opinion about Live to Teach or teach to live begin to


conceptualize your path through college & career. Discover what brings you joy
and how to incorporate these ideas into your goals.  In this workshop, we will
take a look at tools to help express purposeful goals that are in alignment with
your true desires and hopes. Not just a degree or paycheck. We will look at the
tenets of a life designed to be sustainable and joyful and see how this can be
applied to you now as a future teacher and in the future as an educator. When
you live your life in a way that is full of surprises, curiosity and double-takes
you are, certainly, a better teacher. By “better” I mean a teacher who instills
those very emotions (and more) in their students. It is this kind of teacher that
inspires, that motivates and that draws kids in to inquiry. Of course, if this is
true, then the opposite must also be true.
“Live to Teach “by teaching in a school a viable teaching is required in
order to have a good process among the students. Especially now students
need good teaching for making a better learning and knowledge. because there
is a need for live to teach and also it is the one way process to develop or to
improve learning capability especially those students who need good teaching
in terms of reading and written skills. Many of us in this career are both
blessed and cursed as a result. We do have the chance to keep going to new
places but we also develop a “grass is greener” mentality as we continue our
search for the ideal place to have a career. Perhaps we simply need the
determination to become and remain a person who is fascinated and surprised
by life, curious about why things are the way they are and willing to take a
wrong turning just to see what is around the corner. Maybe then we can
become and continue to be inspired teachers.
“Teach to live” here the teachers poured so that their lives to have a good life
especially now difficult because here the teachers today are determined to
teach the youth to have a prosperous life. Also To teach is to choose a
challenging life. It requires passion in the profession, genuine love and interest
in children, especially when one opts to teach young children. One must have
a heart and needs to be ethical, reflective, caring and hopeful. It requires faith
in yourself and respect for individual children, willing to work against the odds
in order to contribute to an evolving environment. I observe right now mostly
the teacher or instructor’s life is a collection of varied experiences and is full of
invention, imposition and determination. Teaching is always a teacher’s own.
Ayers sees the pieces of his own teaching everywhere. Therefore live to teacher
or teach to live Teaching is changing every day. The field of education is
changing every day. Current and future educators and educational leaders
have to adapt to the changes. This town hall discussion will allow educators in
various stages of their careers to talk and ask questions about the current
state and future of the educational system.
