On Saturday, I get up early and do exercise for an hour. Then I have milk or cheese for breakfast. After that, I walk to

First, pour some water in a jug and put it on a source of fire. Then wait until the water boils. After that, put the tea

I am a merchant going to China on the Silk Road. I am going in a caravan of 100 camels loaded with goods. We
have spent three days in a caravanserai for free and now we are passing through Taklamakan Desert. I think we will
face a lot of problems such as heat, hunger and thirst.

Today we can protect ourselves against illnesses because of the work of a famous French scientist. He is Louis
Pasteur. Pasteur's work on germs and different kinds of food led to the discovery of vaccinations that stop illness.
There were fewer deaths after his discoveries and the world is a healthier place to live in now.

Roald Amundsen was a very brave explorer. He was the first person to reach the South Pole in 1911. He used skis
and sledges to reach the pole. Amundsen was important because he has helped us learn about the polar regions and

I live in Hama, which has many tourist sites such as the castle and the famous Waterwheels. The waterwheels are
on the Orontes River and many people visit Hama to see them. In the past, they were used to water the land near the
river, but now they only attract people to visit Hama.
