As sessment:

Direction: Study each picture then answer the following:

1. Explain the effects of force on objects on each picture .

 At the first picture the boy exerted force at his bicycle causing the bicycle to run,
moreover, the more energy or force exerted the faster the bike would run.
 For the second picture, the force act as the tool to make the desire shape of the
bread out of dough. The chef exerted some force to mold the dough into the desire
shape of bread.
2. Solve the average speed

speed = distance/time

=240/3
=80km/h

3. Describe how light is refracted or reflected in the picture below.

 From the picture the position of the man was actually at the center of the mirror
however because of the refraction of light we thought that the man was at the side
of the mirror that is how refraction happened. Moreover, we could clearly see the
whole face of the man and even the objects surround him that is because of the
reflection ,as the reflected lights touches objects we could see it at the mirror.
4. Describe the characteristics and properties of sound in each musical instrument

Timpani

Dull, thunderous, booming, deep, heavy, powerful, mellow, velvety, substantial,

resonant, round, rumbling, dead, dry, hollow. Due to its great dynamic range the
timpani part must be precisely planned and regulated and carefully balanced with its
partner instruments.

Violin
a stringed musical instrument of treble pitch, played with a horsehair bow. The classical
European violin was developed in the 16th century. It has four strings and a body of
characteristic rounded shape, narrowed at the middle and with two f-shaped sound
holes .It can create harmonic and high pitched sound.

French Horn
A French horn is a musical instrument of the brass family. It is shaped like a
long metal tube with one wide end, wound round in a circle. You play the French horn
by blowing into it and moving valves in order to obtain different notes. It can create a
deep but high intensity of loudness.
5. Discuss the Gravity and Friction work in each picture

 For the first picture , because of the gravity that pulls everything on ground the fruit
from the picture fall down on the ground which caused the friction between the
ground and the fruit causing a damage to the fruit and a mark on the ground.

 For the second picture, the car had stop because of the brake installed at the car
which its primary function was to control the speed of the car.the friction happened
when the brake touches the rolling wheel causing it to stop.another friction have
occured hence because of the brake it ables to stop the car.

6. Explain how form of energy is transformed in each picture.

1.The engine of the cars had able to convert

the chemical energy to mechanical energy that
caused the cars to run and works.

2. the lamp convert the electrical energy into

heat and light energy .
