Intern - Content FAQs

1. What will be my designation at upGrad?

The designation that you will be hired at is “Intern- Content”

2. What do I do if I don’t have the required documents?

Please do arrange for the documents, without the same we will not be able to move forward
with your internship recruitment process. In order to process the offer letter we will require the
documentation. If you don’t have the documents, please arrange for the same and update the
email thread and fill the form.

3. In which department will I be working?

You will be working in the Content department at upGrad.

4. What is my office location?

Currently in this pandemic period, you will be working from home. The location that you are
assigned to will be mentioned in the offer letter, if not please do get in touch with your recruiter
via email.

5. How much will I get as my salary?

Your stipend will be INR 15000, there will be no deductions as this is an internship role.

6. What are the working hours and how many days a week do I need to work?
You will be required for approximately 10 hours a day, ​for 6 days a week​. The timing will be
around 10:30AM-7:30PM.day. ​(CJ-Timing 9am to 7pm, Weekoff as per business requirement)

Also depending on your deliverables, you will be required to manage your work hours/days to
achieve your goals for the defined periods. The work timings may extend beyond the specified
hours based on the Company’s requirement. The company reserves the right to change
workdays and hours of work at any time and as per exigencies of work.

7. Do I get any leaves to appear for college examinations?

No examination related leaves are allowed at upGrad.

For any exceptions, please get in touch with your placement officer who needs to further
connect with the campus recruiter/representative at upGrad at least 30 days prior to the
examination schedule. The campus recruiter/representative will then seek the business'
approval for the leaves & if approved, only then the leaves can be considered.

 
 

8. No Leave during training period

9. What are the components of my salary and what will be the in-hand salary that I will be
getting?
As this is an internship role, there will be no deductions. You will receive the whole monthly
amount, in hand.

10. Is it possible to postpone my DOJ once I’m onboard?

Once the joining formalities are completed, there will be no re-onboarding and Date of Joining will
not be changed.
