Practice Test 17

The given diagram highlights the several steps through which olive oil is made.

Overall, it can be seen that there are 7 different steps in the process, commencing with olives
being harvested and ending with the distribution and preservation of the final products.

The procedure begins when olives are picked from their trees by farmers and placed in cylinder-
shapedcylindrical containers before they enter the second phase. In the next stage, the fruits go
through water specially made cold to facilitate the rinsing phasebeing rinsed in cold water.
Once cleaned of dirt, they are then crushed into two separate forms, stones and paste, the latter
of which proceed to the next steps. For better ventilation, bags with holes are utilized to contain
the paste. The fifth and sixth steps involve the help of machinery in pressing the paste into
water and oil. Bottles of oil, as the end products, will later be put in buildings acting as storages
and distributed to stores.
