remaining questions that they
have for this test and then
Honors they will take it. The second
Physic period will be the start of
s chapter 35 notes.
The content is differentiated
because of the content being
on the slides and being
spoken.
Assessment: The students will
be formally assessed by a test
on the contents on chapter 34.

parallel resistors.
Identify the series and parallel
resistor equations.
Materials: Logger pro lab
manual, pencil, materials from
lab manual, notebook
Lesson Development with
Differentiation: The students
will start and finish the “Getting
Wired” Lab in the double period
that they have. They will split
into groups of 2-3 and complete
the lab and the questions in
these two periods.
The learning environment will be
differentiated by having a short
intro to the lab and then having
lab experience.
Assessment: The students will be
assessed informally by their
ability to complete the lab and
answer the questions.

start by going over what they
learned in their lab. They will
then finish the chapter 35 notes
and ask questions during the
lecture.
The content will be differentiated
by having the content on the
slides and being read aloud.
Assessment: The students will be
informally assessed by questions
being asked during the lecture
for understanding of circuits.

page, pencil, notes
Lesson Development with
Differentiation: The students will
finish any notes that they did not
the day before and then work on
a concept development page
individually. When they are done,
they will turn this in for a grade.
They may ask questions at any
time.

concept development page for
correctness.

FRIDAY

Materials: kahoot, projector,
whiteboard, smart device
Lesson Development with
Differentiation: The students will
get on their smart device and log
into the kahoot game. They will
then play a 30 question kahoot
game to review chapter 35.
The learning environment will be
differentiated by going from a
lecture style to a game style
learning.
Assessment: The students will be
informally assessed by their score
in the kahoot game. The lower
the score, the less understanding.
Accommodations: No
accommodations or
modifications.
Self-evaluation:

I think I did a good job at being creative this week and coming up with activities that break up
the regular flow of class. There was a lab on Tuesday that the students enjoyed, and then the
Kahoot game at the end of the week had them having a blast. This was to review for a test they
will have the next week and I believe that they are prepared for it because of the small activities
that occurred this week.
