Lesson Proper
Motivation:
The teacher will bounce the ball on the floor. Then ask the students
to describe what happened. Tell them to start the sentence with the name of
the teacher (e.g. “Ms. Obillo bounced the ball.”) The teacher will write the
sentence on the board then have the students identify the subject. (Ms. Obillo)
and the verb (bounced).
Again, the teacher will bounce the ball, but this time, the students
will describe what happened starting with “The ball...”. Students should say ,
“The ball was bounced by Ms. Obillo.” The teacher will the second sentence on
the board and ask the students to identify the subject in the sentence (the ball)
and the verb (was bounced).

Guide question:
1. How do the sentences differ from each other?

Spot the Error


The teacher will ask the students if the sentence is correct or not.
1. The lesson is taught by the teacher.

4. Dinner is eaten by them
5. They ate dinner.
