    FRELIN: * OMG! Is this true? The government lifted all the COVID-19 protocols
    because the Philippines are now COVID free?

    *Is that really true?

    * Do you have any evidence that it is really came from the government?

    FRELIN: * (Thinking, scrolling, and giggling)

    * Nope, I just saw this on my friend’s shared post

    * And I think it is true because it said that it came from government

    *I will share this and my friends going to like it.

    SEAN’S VOICE OVER: You need to check it before sharing it.

    *In social media, there’s a lot of false information and that one is one of the
    fake news too

    *It might cause harm and danger to all the people who will see it.
    FRELIN: *Duhh! It is just a post from social media

    * Look at those likes and shares

    * They like it!

    SEAN’S VOICE OVER: But it’s a lie!

    *Think before you share it.

    SEAN’S VOICE: YOU PROBABLY HEARD THIS TERM “FAKE NEWS” (INSERT

    SCENE 2: EXPLAIN FAKE NEWS


    LADY: 25% of students were able to identify an accurate news story when also
    given a fake one.

    FRELIN: 75% of people who see fake news, think it is real.

    SEAN: But, How can you be sure what you’re seeing is true?

    Aby: Here’s what is true.

    *Misinformation is false or inaccurate information that is communicated


    regardless of intention to deceive.

    FRELIN: Fake news worries us less than it humors us.
