Activity 1

My 3 take aways in the video from the video that I watched:

1. One of my takeaways after watching the videos is that fake news is still a phenomenon that we are
currently facing, so we need first to understand or analyze the historical context behind the information
presented in a different type of social media. For example, you have an activity to make a history
documentary it requires you to collect the correct information to use in your documentary. After
completing the task, the video will present in the class. When doing this task, you should know the
importance of spreading information because there are people who would be listening to that activity. It
is also essential to check the information carefully before you put that information. Your main goal in
this activity is to spread original, not edited, or fake news information.

2. I also learned in this video that I should be careful once I share information about history because if I
let myself being not aware of fake news and believing to what I saw in the media without checking if
that is not original so there is a possibility that my information that I share in people is also wrong or
fake.

3. One of my takeaways after watching this video there still people are wasting their time by making
fake news just for fun without realizing that many people were victims of what they do. Furthermore, I
learned also that making Fake news can also use to defame someone. I saw this mostly if there's an
upcoming election, so it's up to us if we can easily believe the news. So it is essential to have research or
fact-checking and find evidence if that is legit information. In addition, one of my final takeaways also if
we are getting information on history, we should be based on Primary context to avoid sharing missed
information. Secondary context also is essential, but in this type of context, there is now an opinion of
others, or there are edited pictures.
