I. Description of the Outreach Program Experience

Plants have so many benefits in our lives. Plants Allow Their Struggles to

Make Them Stronger. This planting project Aims to raise awareness to the

society in the importance of planting and saving trees, express our concern to the

environment, and diminish the unfavorable effects of climate change. what I am

focusing on here is how I can help my neighbor. Planting is not just random

because it is where your sacrifices are. because planting is not easy because

there are so many things to do before you can build a garden and have a plant I

really learned to plant here. It is very fun to plant especially if you can see the

result of what you have planted. Actually, it's easy to learn to plant, but you also

have to be patient with each plant because they also die quickly. You really need

to take care of, water and apply fertilizer.

II. Situational Analysis

Vegetables and trees are very much needed because they help our people to

prevent disasters such as floods and prevent starvation of every person, it also

becomes our food supply. This planting project is very serious because here you

will see all the sacrifices you make in making the garden and the hardships in

tilling the land it is not only for myself but also for my neighbor. I see the suffering

of other people who have nothing to eat so we have to make way for them.

In Southville 9 Brgy. Pinugay, Baras Rizal the problem is, so this place we

are far from town or city or in other words is in the mountains we are close. There

are people here who are really working on a way to find a job because they don't

have anything to eat so I thought about it because it can be a way so that they

don't have to suffer. I did this project to plant so that we can prevent hunger and

also to help our environment. And another one I thought is the plants and trees

were very beautiful to the eye. In All Nations Mission Church, Sitio Kapatagan

Pinugay Baras Rizal I do this planting project I enlisted the help of a pastor here

who was good at planting, he helped me to speed up the growth of plants, so first

we had a hard time tilling the soil, we also had a hard time finding fertile soil and

fertilizer so many of us thought it could be a fertilizer like skin of eggs, mussels,

and gills of fish. So now they are slowly growing and there is one there that can

be harvested that is chili.

In terms of planting project, it may be difficult in the beginning, but there is a

good outcome, let's just take good care of the plant and we also take care of our

environment we learn to make way for the betterment of our environment,

because it is also for us for the comfort of our lives.

III. Project Formulating

There are stages of project formulation these are;

Preliminary Project Formulation - in this stage the process of the project

development begins with the conception of a project idea. This stated the difficult

decisions, what is the need of the project in identifying the project ideas.

Pre - Feasibility Study - this contains the preliminary assessment of the project

idea. This stage also stated the cost and time- consuming task.

Feasibility Study - the objective of feasibility study is to define and analyze the

critical demands that relate the objectives of the project, together with the

alternative approaches to achieve such objectives.

Support of Financial Studies - this are the activities of project formulation,

which are confined to some specific elements or functions or a large investment

project. There are some examples of functional studies, these are the market

study, the materials, the technology, the site of the project you will conduct.

Detailed Project Report - once the feasibility is established, it can be

implemented. The detailed project report is an exploded blue print of the project,

which can be the tool for the implementation of the project. It will enlist all the

steps, that need to be taken before the starting the project.

IV. Project Implementation and evaluation

So first we looked at the condition of our community and second is we looked

for people who can help us we carried out this project with the help of our pastor

here. He helped us make this planting project successful, he always gives us

new knowledge about planting. He also taught us that eggshells, mussel shells

and fish gills can be used as fertilizers, not just animal poop.

V. Lesson Learned

Planting has taught me that growing a garden is the same process as creating our

lives. One of the most difficult aspects of growing our own edible plants and

vegetables is learning to be patient. We could hardly contain our excitement as we

watched the garden flourish and waited for it to grow. Initially, it was tough waiting for

the first grow of our plant to get mature enough to harvest. We learned a lesson that

we will bring as we get older, that planting is important because it can help in reducing

the levels of air pollution as they absorb pollutant gases and filter out the particles.
