EXECUTIVE ORDER
NO. 2020-029, Series of 2020

“CREATING THE MUNICIPAL CENSUS COORDINATING BOARD IN

THE MUNICIPALIRTY OF SABLAYAN, PROVINCE OF OCCIDENTAL
MINDORO”

WHEREAS, Republi Act 10625 otherwise known as the Philippine Statistics Act of 2013
states that the Philippine Statistices Authority (PSA) shall prepare conduct periodic
censuses on population, housing, agriculture, fisheries, businesses, industry and other
sectors of the economy;

WHEREAS, the 2015 Census of Population (POPCEN 2015) which should be scheduled
on August 15 woth 01 August as reference is designed mainly to take an inventory of the
population of the entire country;

WHEREAS, pursuant to its legal mandate the PSA Board issued on 21 November 2014,
PSA Board Resolution No. 09, Series of 2014 approving the composition of terms of the
Regional, Provincial and City/Municipal Census Coordinating Board for POPCEN ;

WHEREAS, there is a need to compose the Municipal Census Coordinating Board

NOW THEREFORE, by the authority vested in me by law, I, ANDRES D.

DANGEROS, Municipal Mayor, do hereby order the creation of the MUNICIPAL
CENSUS COORDINATING BOARD IN THE MUNICIPALIRTY OF SABLAYAN,
PROVINCE OF OCCIDENTAL MINDORO;

Section 1 – Composition of the Team- The HRMPSB shall be composed as follows:

Section 2. Functions and Responsibilities- The Municipal Census Coordinatimg

Council shall have the following functions:

a. Assess the needs of the PSA within the municipality in terms of facilitites,
(transportation, communications, training and lodging);

b. Provide transportation facilities to the distribution, delivery of census of
materials;
c. Provide communication facilities for the use of census personnel;
d. Provide venues/facilities for the training of census personnel;
e. Provide temporary room/office/space that will serve as the headquarters of the
census personnel or storage area for census materials and supplies for the duration of
census operation;
f. Assist the PSA in the census operations to ensure complete coverage of the
municipality;
g. Provide security personnel and materials;
h. Refer to the PCCB matters which cannot be resolved by the PCCB;
i. Ensure the cooperation of barangay officials in the census operations;
j. Take up other matters as may be specified by the PCCB or as necessary for the
successful conduct of the census.

Section 3. Effectivity- This Order shall take effect immediately. A copy shall be publish in the
municipality’s official website.
