need manage the stand. In this period the task

The main resource obtained at forest is wood. This wood can be transformed or be used raw such as fuel.

For obtain wood we need to fell trees.

The steps to cut down a tree are:

The forests provide many resources, charcoal, timber and planks, cork, pellets, lumber…

The wood can be used such as raw material for fuel for example as lumber or can be
transformated for to make different products.

The uses as fuel are lumber, charcoal or pellets. The charcoal it is a wood that has not been
completely burned. The best wood for charcoal is hardwood examples are oak, cedar, elm,
cherry… The lumber is a wood in raw, is used as firewood. Pellets are chips wood compressed.

For building the wood can be transformate in timber or planks, the timber is a till plank and uses
for furniture or finished works, the planks are thick and it uses for structural elements. This
material is fixed with studs.

The cork is bark from cork oak tree. It is separated with ax and can be transformated in stop
wine or insolating material.
