Time Allocation : 90 Minutes

A. Learning objectives
After participating in the learning process, learners are expected to:
 Understand and explain the meaning of evolution
 Explaining the theory of evolution according to expert opinion
 Knowing characteristics, various and factors that supporting the occurrence of evolution
 Explaining the mechanism of evolution

Media : Worksheets and Power point of evolution
Equipment / Materials : Markers, whiteboards, laptop & projector

C. Learning steps
Activities Introduction (15 Minutes)
Opening with a greeting and a prayer to start learning, check the presence of the learner as discipline
Associate materials or learning activities that will be performed with students ' experiences with previous materials or learning
activities.
Teachers write down the learning objectives that will be accomplished to focus students attention on the material to be
learned.
Core Activities (65 Minutes)
Literacy Event The students were motivated and guided to see, observe, read and write back. They were given the
impression of observing the power point slide of evolution.
Critical Teachers provide an opportunity to identify as many things as yet understood, starting from a factual
Thinking question to the question is hypothetical. This question must remain associated with the evolution of matter

Collaboration Learners are formed into groups to discuss, present, and share information about the material of evolution

Communicatio Learners presented the results of the working groups, express opinions on the presentation made later taken
n back by groups or individuals who presented

Creativity Teachers and learners make inferences about things that have been learned related to evolution. Learners
are then given the opportunity to ask back the things that have not understood
Closing Activities (10 Minutes)
Guiding students to draw conclusions or summarise the lesson materials and then learners make a summary / conclusion of
lessons about important points that appear in the learning activities.

D. Learning Outcomes Assessment


 Knowledge assessment in the form of a multiple-choice written test and a written description, oral tests /
observations of the question and answer discussion and conversation and assignment
 Skills assessment in the form of performance assessment, project assessment, product assessment and portfolio
assessment
