ASSIGNMENT 1

PURPOSE

The purpose of this assignment is to develop learners’ ability to identify and analyse
the competitive position of an organisation in the industry.

REQUIREMENT

You are required to carry out brief research on these three selected companies; Open
University Malaysia, Wawasan Open University and Asia e-University.

For each this organisation, analyse its critical success factors and prepare a competitive
profile matrix. Explain your findings with regards to the competitiveness of each
organisation within the industry.

Prepare your report based on the following guidelines:

1. Introduction to each of the organisation


(5 marks)
2. Analysis of the critical success factors of each organisation
(10 marks)
3. Presentation and explanation of the competitive profile matrix
(10 marks)
4. Brief summary of your overall findings

PURPOSE

The purpose of this assignment is to develop learners’ ability to conduct a case strategy
analysis of an organisation.

REQUIREMENT

visit Bursa Malaysia website and obtain the KPJ’s 2017 and 2018 Annual Reports. Use
