ABSTRACT
The research aims to 1) Know how the implementation of the industrial
practice training of students machining program of vocational high school in
Surakarta; 2) Develop standard implementation of the industrial practice training of
students machining program of vocational high school in Surakarta.This researh was
a comparative qualitative research. The population of this research was procedure of
industrial practice training of Machining Program Vocational High School in
Surakarta. SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta, SMK pancasila Surakarta and SMK PGRI 1
Surakarta were selected as the sample through purposive sampling. This study was
started from collecting data, analyzing data, and making conclusions. The type of
data was qualitative data. Data collection techniques were documentation and
interview. Analysis of data using document analysis.Based on the result of reseacrh,
implementation flow of industrial practice training that can be proposed are 1)
Sinkronizing Industry Phase, 2) Evaluating Industry Feasibility, 3) Determining
temporary industry, 4) Socializing Industrial Practice Training 5) Selecting Industry
by Students, 6) Determining Final Industry, 7) Making Cooperation with Industry, 8)
Preparatory Phase, 9) Impelemtaion Phase, 10) Mentoring Participants of Training,
11) Handling troubled students, 12) Withdrawing Training Participant, 13) Assesing
and Certificating Training Participant of Industrial Practice Training 14) Collecting
Records of Industrial Practice Training.
