FESTIVAL CHANTS
“Hala bira!” and “Viva la Virgen!” are examples of chants that are well- known in
different festivals in the Philippines. “Hala bira!” commonly heard from Ati atihan
festival of Kalibo, Aklan, and “Viva la Virgen!” from Peñafrancia festival of Bicol
Region.
Create a campaign art using the festival chant in your town encouraging the public
to watch and appreciate this festival.
