Shoppers Stop is an Indian department store chain, owned by the K Raheja Corp. There are
86 stores across 40 cities in India, with clothing, accessories, handbags, shoes, jewelry,
fragrances, cosmetics, health and beauty products, home furnishing and decor products.
The first store was opened in Andheri, Mumbai on 27th Oct 1991. The company opened its
22nd store at Lucknow in 2006. In 2007, it entered partnership with Nuance Group AG, and
opened stores in Mumbai T1 and Bengaluru Airport. An e-store with delivery across major
cities in India was launched in 2008, with a smartphone app in 2016. SHOPPERS STOP has
progressed from being a single brand shop to becoming a Fashion & Lifestyle store for the
family. Today, Shoppers stop is a household name, known for its superior quality products,
services and above all, for providing a complete shopping experience.
Shoppers stop uses SAP SD which enables it to provide a seamless and unified shopping
experience to customers across its multiple channels, that is, physical stores, web, social, TV
and marketplaces. Amongst the top global retailers, nine out of 10 are brick and mortar players
who have evolved into omni-channel entities. In India, Shoppers Stop was one of the first
department stores to launch a multi-channel play through their e-store
www.shoppersstop.com. Linking multiple channels gives their customers a unified brand
experience. They have invested more than ₹60 crore in their omni-channel efforts.
SAP SD has helped shoppers Stop to introduce various new features such as
Endless Aisle was introduced to help customers find what they are looking for, by widening their
choice and ensuring they do not walk away from the store empty-handed. We empower them
with access to the stock at any other store, while mitigating the need to stock every variant in
every store.
Click-and-collect is about providing customers with the convenience of buying online and
collecting their orders from the store, ensuring faster fulfilment.
Ship-from-store feature leverages the full might of our store and warehouse inventory to
promptly fulfil customer orders.
Google directs customers, when they initiate a search on the platform, to digital ads
promoting specific offers from Shoppers Stop. The customer is provided first-hand information
on offers, product range and availability as well as on brands, which influence the customers’
visit to the nearest store.
First Citizen – First Citizen customers contribute almost 80 % of shoppers stop sales, as
shoppers stop is well know for its loyalty programs and many of their customers do tend to
shop there because of these loyalty cards and reward points they offer. First citizen customers

Loyal Members. In our premium membership Black Card, we added GK new members. Further, in our
Omni channel, our loyal member sales doubled vs last year.
