Shoppers Stop is an Indian department store chain, owned by the K Raheja Corp. There are
86 stores across 40 cities in India, with clothing, accessories, handbags, shoes, jewelry,
fragrances, cosmetics, health and beauty products, home furnishing and decor products.
The first store was opened in Andheri, Mumbai on 27th Oct 1991. The company opened its
22nd store at Lucknow in 2006. In 2007, it entered partnership with Nuance Group AG, and
opened stores in Mumbai T1 and Bengaluru Airport. An e-store with delivery across major
cities in India was launched in 2008, with a smartphone app in 2016. SHOPPERS STOP has
progressed from being a single brand shop to becoming a Fashion & Lifestyle store for the
family. Today, Shoppers stop is a household name, known for its superior quality products,
services and above all, for providing a complete shopping experience.

aims to offer products in home decor, furniture and accessories based in Mumbai.
The goods sold in this store are often imported, it has brands such as Soulflower,
Portico, Spaces, Spirella, Interdesign, Blue Water, Progressive etc. The range of
home furnishing products that are available at the store are home decor, furniture,
bath accessories, bedroom furnishings, mattresses, draperies, carpets, modular
kitchens, body spa, aromatic products and health equipment.

experience to customers across its multiple channels, that is, physical stores, web, social, TV
and marketplaces. Amongst the top global retailers, nine out of 10 are brick and mortar players
who have evolved into omni-channel entities. In India, Shoppers Stop was one of the first
department stores to launch a multi-channel play through their e-store
www.shoppersstop.com. Linking multiple channels gives their customers a unified brand
experience. They have invested more than ₹60 crore in their omni-channel efforts.

Sale and so on. We have added 309K members as of December 31, 2020 and we have 7.7M trusted
Loyal Members. In our premium membership Black Card, we added GK new members. Further, in our
Omni channel, our loyal member sales doubled vs last year.

It concentrates on private label via e-commerce


Taking a page out of Flipkart’s and Amazon’s playbook, the retailer will be using exclusive
brands and private labels online to push its sales. The Shoppers Stop chain receives a gross
margin of 33%. Its private brands, Stop, Kashish, Life, Haute Curry, Eliza Donatein and Vettorio
Fratini contribute to 11.5 % of its sales. Exclusive brands like Virat Kholi’s brand Wrogn, Spanish
fast fashion brand, Desigual and Shraddha Kapoor’s Imara brand provide around 4.1% sales for
the company. private label business is 12-13% of our total business. We expect that to grow
significantly over the next couple of years and get to between 25% and 30%
