II. INTRODUCTORY CONCEPT


Communication is important to connect with people. This is why the use of
language should be clear and coherent. One way to express one’s thoughts
clearly is the correct grammar usage which includes connecting words, phrases,
and clauses by using coordinating conjunctions.

Coordinating Conjunctions are words that join elements of a sentence


that are similar. They join words, phrases, and clauses.
The mnemonic below is designed for you to remember the seven
coordinating conjunctions easily.

so/for show consequence or Example: You try to wake up early

nor/or show choice or Example: We will finish our project
