We are so excited to meet you all! We’ve been waiting a long time for this conference to take

We will be having two keynote speakers presenting to us today about their experience working
for NASA and for Prisms and offering advice on the skills needed to have a successful career. We
are also having three Baraza groups to discuss and share our ideas about different career fields,
skills needed and the future of jobs.

In order to start our journey in the world of jobs and changes, I would like to invite my colleagues
Daria and Ioana to tell you more about the changes that occurred in the last years in the world of DARIA+ IOANA O.

As you saw in the previous presentation, things have changed considerably over time, politically,
socially, culturally and of course economically. So, people have adapted regarding this, adopting
different methods to make the community work.

They refer to the evolution from all points of view, to the acquired skills and this branch of
technology that has grown considerably. Of course, during the discussions in Baraza groups and
speeches delivered by our key-note speakers, we will go through each one and we are really excited

you’d never be able to have. We’re also going to have fun finding about strange jobs and guessing
which ones are real and which ones were invented.

3:25- 3:45 this baraza. My name is and I am a student in the……… grade. When I was very little, I wanted to be

ourselves and speak about the jobs you’ve dreamed of when you were little and the jobs that you’d

Our first key note speaker is …Adrian Stoica. He has 30 years of R&D experience in autonomous
systems, developing novel, adaptive, learning and evolvable hardware techniques. He earned his
PhD in electrical engineering at the Victoria University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia in the
year of 1996. He joined NASA at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory the same year, his goal being to

develop infrastructure and human settlements on the South Pole of the Moon. His ambitions are
the starting point of human evolution towards the deepest corners of space.

First of all, which ones of these do you think will go through crucial changes in the future, as
Artificial Intelligence is already taking over our world? I think we all agree that technology will, but
let’s discuss together the advantages and disadvantages of AI taking over some of these fields?
Which jobs from these fields will be most affected by it? Which jobs could never be replaced by
robots? Where should AI stop in terms of replacing the jobs done by people?

world controlled by Artificial Intelligence in one word, what word would you use? Please share your

Introduce It is now time to introduce our second key note speaker, who will enrich our views about artificial Ioana O.
second key- intelligence. Anurupa Ganguly –is our second keynote speaker. She studied at MIT and began
note speaker her teaching career in Boston Public School as a Physics and Mathematics teacher. Now,
she and her team are currently building a next generation high school Math, Physics,
Engeneering and Computer Sciences curriculum, which has an interdisciplinary approach
that helps students visualise various things with the help of VR intelligence and cultivate
their social responsibility with the help of STEM tools. This project can be the start of a new
future in education.

We will have our views broadened by her experiences, for sure. Thank you very much, ms.
