vehicle front hood. with the safety rod. After shutting the hood,
ensure its correct locking.

1.1 Tilting the engine hood. Trucks with engine 457.924/931. AR88.40-B-1000B

2.1 Removing the engine hood inside vehicle Trucks fitted with engine 457.924/931. AR88.40-B-1100A
cabin. i When valve covers of cylinder head 5 and
6 are to be removed.

3 Remove capscrews (1). n BA01.20-B-1001-01B

4 Take off valve cover (2) and gasket (3). i Installation: Clean contact surfaces and
replace gasket (3).

5 Install in the reverse order.
