ACTION PLAN ON READING

Title of the Project : PROJECT YAKAP ( Yayabong Ang Kakayahan At Adhikain sa Pagbabasa)

Department of Education created “Every Child a Reader Program (ECARP)” to remedy the reading problem of
the country in which schools are the prime movers towards its success. There are suggested activities in order to
love reading. This can only happen once a learner knows how to read and comprehend what he reads.

Our road to school to zero non- reader needs close attention/supervision, greater patience and concern to
attain the goal in order to help learners gain greater knowledge that will lead to better learning.

General Objectives:
1. To assist pupils with problem in reading
2. To encourage and tap parents to be partners in making pupils read and comprehend.
