1.9.1 Solve problems of whole numbers, mixed operations involving addition and

subtraction, and mixed operations
By the end of the lesson, most of the pupils will be able to:-
LEARNING OBJECTIVES 1. Solve problem solving questions correctly.

Answer at least _2__ out of _3__ questions correctly in the exercise.

SUCCESS CRITERIA
(Text book – Page 48 - 62 )
1. Pupils listen to teacher LO.
2. Teacher shows the questions in text book using LCD projector. Pupils read the questions
together and teacher guides pupils to understand the problems and solve them.
ACTIVITIES 3. In group of fours, pupils are asked to solve problem solving questions on majong paper
and paste it on the wall. Then the member of the other group will come to observe their
work. (21st CA)
4. Pupils do activity book (Page 60 ). (CBA)
5. Teacher summarizes the lesson for today.
