Introduction (5 minutes)
1. Pupils listen to teacher LO.
2. Pupils are asked to observe teacher’s activity. Teacher shows how to multiply using the lattice method
in front.

Activity 1 (Free Discussion, Quiz) (20 minutes)


1. Refer to example on Page 34 – 36, pupils discuss and guide to multiply two digit number with two digit
number.
2. Pupils carry out quiz activity for fast calculations to improve the competence of pupils to calculate the
product involving 10, 100 and 1000.
3. Pupils are emphasised that numbers with many digits are arranged first for easier calculation.

Activity 2 (Games) (15 minutes)


1. In groups, pupils play multiplication wheel.
2. Pupils are asked to determine their turns and the referee before playing.

Activity 3 (Try It Out) (15 minutes)


1. Pupils solve Test Yourself on page 36 No. 2 and 3 in exercise book.
2. Pupils discuss the answer

Closure (5 minutes)
1. Pupils summarize the lesson for today with guide of teacher.

Introduction (5 minutes)
1. Pupils listen to teacher LO.
2. Pupils are guide to build Multiplication Table (JSPG – Jadual Sifir Pelbagai Guna).

Activity 1 (Mind Map) (20 minutes)


1. Pupils discuss with teacher how to shift decimal points as a strategy in dividing by 10,100 and 1000.
3. Pupils are guided to divide 10, 100 and 1000 by shifting decimal points in bridge map at page 38.
4. Refer to example on Page 38, pupils relate the division of any number by 10,100 and 1000 involving
unknowns with multiplication.and are encourage to use the elimination method to calculate.
5. Refer to example on Page 39, pupils are guided to solve division questions by referring JSPG.

Activity 2 (Think Pair Share, Presentation) (15 minutes)


1. In pairs, pupil discuss and solve division number sentences.
2. Selected pair will present their answer in front.

Activity 3 (Try It Out) (15 minutes)


1. Pupils solve Test Yourself on Page 43 No. 1a - f in exercise book.
2. Pupils discuss the answer

Closure (5 minutes)
1. Pupils summarize the lesson for today with guide of teacher.

Introduction (5 minutes)
1. Pupils listen to teacher LO.
2. Pupils are prepared with ice cream sticks.
3. 2 pupils are asked to in front and teacher distribute the ice cream sticks equally to them.
4. Other pupils determine the number sentence and solve it.

Activity 1 (Simulation, Free Discussion) (20 minutes)


1. Pupils are emphasised that divisions as repeated subtraction.
2. Pupils are asked to divide numbers without remainder through simulation using times tables or concrete
objects.
3. Pupils are emphasised to check their answers using multiplication and the importance of basic facts to
solve division.
4. Based on example on Page 42, pupils are explained how to build 65 times table and other two-digit
times tables.

Activity 2 (Collaboration) (15 minutes)


1. In groups, pupils complete and present the Bridge Map in example 4 in Page 33.
2. Pupils present their answer in Gallery Walk.

Activity 3 (Try It Out) (15 minutes)


1. Pupils solve Test Yourself on Page 43 No, 2 and 3.
2. Pupils discuss the answer.

Closure (5 minutes)
1. Pupils summarize the lesson for today with guide of teacher.
