I. RATIONALE

The vision, mission, goals and objectives of the Nazarene Catholic School can be achieved through a curriculum that
executes the teacher’s effective management of content, instruction and all learning experiences in order to have a satisfying
and productive life of which the learner is capable. The program is designed to serve as a tool to meet the needs and support
the academic achievement of the learner and provide quality education to create a globally competitive individual.

II. Statement of Goals

The Mathematics Area Program is always in the pursuit of mathematical excellence, competitiveness, and perfection of
skills that the students may use and apply in the near future. The program was primarily designed to greatly improve and
hone students’ mathematical skills and competence. The programs and activities were studied carefully and perfected by the
teachers to ensure quality and lifelong learning. Moreover, alongside the facilitation of the program, the integration of vision
mission, core values and institutional theme were also given importance and considered in this program.
