Portfolio description:
This portfolio will be a compilation of the different topics discussed in class, namely: Lifestyle,
competitions, transportation, and adventure. You will have to produce material that is relevant to
the aforementioned topics. Your portfolio will be divided into 5 parts

Content of the portfolio:


Part 1 (3+3)
Write and design two colorful advertisements on the topic of your own choice. Design it with
vibrant colors and catchy language.

Part 2 (4)
Create a Crazy Sport (300 words)

a. Introduce the sport


b. The purpose of the sport
c. The rules
d. Rational behind designing it
Part 3 (5)
Creating a new way of transportation (500 words)

a. Reimagining transportation in the future


b. Rational behind designing this new way of transportation
c. Benefits for the society and the environment
d. Advantages and disadvantages

Part 4 (5)
Write about a personal adventure that you have experienced (500 words)

Part 5 (10)
Produce in groups of FOUR a video of 4 min (maximum) talking about a landmark/place in
Bahrain of your choice. It can be any place i.e. historical sight, seaside, restaurant, or
market/mall.
Guidelines:

-Proper Introduction of Students and the place
- Importance of that landmark/small history if it is a historical sight
-Why you have chosen that place
- Who should visit this place and what time/season
- Message for tourists and people to encourage them to visit the place
b. Tips
LENGTH: The recording should be long enough to answer the questions given (no shorter than 4 minutes
and no longer than 5 minutes).
CONTENT: The recording needs to have relevant and insightful information about the topic. The
information needs to be presented in an interesting and engaging way. The presentation will have to raise
questions or provoke interest in compelling ways. All FOUR students need to speak
MECHANICS AND CONVENTIONS: The recording should be free of grammar mistakes, audible. The
ideas need to be expressed clearly in a coherent and cohesive manner.
