Integration of Technology in Teaching and Learning Process

(MS Team and Google Meet Presentation)

Rationale:

According to Christiansen (2019), technology facilitates scheduling,

coordinates services, tracks students and teachers, and helps with data gathering

and analysis. With this, it is very important for teachers and learners to become adept

in the use of various available technology in order to become more productive and adapt

to the changes brought by the pandemic in the educational system. To note, the delivery

of lessons as well as teachers’ reports, assessments, evaluations, monitoring, progress

reports and many others had changed and backed up by virtual meetings and updating

using various online platforms.

As part of this change, Malapatan National High School continues to provide

professional development programs to its teachers in order to consistently submit

deliverables on time. Also, ICT training had been an important part of this professional

development. In addition, meeting conducted by various DepEd offices are in MS Team

and Google meeting platform. From this, the next LAC session will be patterned to

address the need for updating teachers’ skills in the use of the MS Team and Google

Meet applications.

Objectives:

This activity aims to:

Applications; and

2. Apply MS Team and Google Meet Applications in the teaching and learning

process.
