*Human beings - we people are most affected on its either a natural or man - made.

* Dwellings or households & Communities - our houses or properties may damage after a disaster.

* Building Structures - those building may do collapse if the disaster may had its big impact to the community.

* Public Facilities and Infrastructure assets - which are, Police Station, Hospital, on Fire station can also be
indeed when a disaster occur.

* Public transportation system - such as, LRT, Trains, Busses, Airplanes etc. May be restricted or can also be
damage during or after natural or manmade disaster occur.

* Agricultural Commodities & Farm - Roots Crops, Animals etc. Those source of income of economy might
also affected by it’s the disasters huge impact to the community.

* Environmental Assets - Those Forest, River, Natural Resources etc. Can lead to break down which can be
our big problem for it will be harder for us to have a limited natural resources.

2.) DIFFERENTIATE AMONG HAZARDS, EXPOSURE AND VULNERABILITIES AND GIVE

HAZARDS

Refers to the possible source of what it can happen to you due to the exposure and your vulnerability as a
human being, basically hazard is also the thing which has an easy potential to harm or to leave an adverse
effect to the communities but won't actively harm humans. This kind of possible source of agent which has the
potential to cause harm or danger to a vulnerable target is can be a disaster of natural or man - made indeed, it
is a normal occurrence on our planet at a given magnitude that cannot be avoided but remember that it always
carries threat and harm to humans. A hazard will consider be as disaster if it can be a phenomenon that cause
of displacement of populated area which characterized by its location, intensity or magnitude, frequency and
probability.

EXPOSURE

It is an exposure of people, property systems or other elements present in hazard zones that there by
subject of potential losses or an state of people or group of people that remains in an imminent risk of danger.
That its presence of people, livelihood ecosystem environmental function services and resources cultural
assets in hazard prone areas are repairing to people and property damage. Lastly, those buildings and
properties may have many instances to be close within hazard and disaster if its system is open to be damage.

VULNERABILITIES

increase the susceptibility to the impact of the hazard. It is a fault within the system, such as software package

elements that include sensitivity number of people or structures present in hazard zones.

EXAMPLE # 1

HAZARD - wet floor (just wet floor nothing can be harm)

EXPOSURE - Those Elder's, Customer's, PWD's and Staffs who might carry loads was can be affected. By
the COVID virus may has a limits to the space of making customers to feel uncomfortable at the same time
lacks of the staffs to move freely while working is can be their exposure to a harmful situation.

VULNERABILITY - It may be vulnerable if there is no sinagers or warning signs, when there is no watchers
to warn the victims and for them to not walk near the wet floor.

EXAMPLE #2

HAZARD - Flood (with no victims affected yet)

EXPOSURE - It community houses and every victims belongings may flashed away as well as some plants
and animals that they taking care off and risk for a long time.

VULNERABILITY - Can lead to a worse situation if that garbage was just stock on a drainage system which
all over the community that will make a flood raise higher and to have a possibility to have a disease such as
leptospirosis. Also the poverty and being irresponsible citizen can affect the recovery of the community.

EXAMPLE # 3

HAZARD - Wild Fire (no one will be harm)

EXPOSURE - Exposed individuals are mainly local who rely in the forest for livelihood and diverse range of
wild fire

VULNERABILITY - The place is susceptible for wild fire because they cannot prevent fire hazards such as
extreme heat and small camp fire, another thing is the place was also lack enough of water sources or tanks to
put off the large fire.
