● There are three important elements to consider at this stage in the process:
● Often, the hardest part about getting started here is figuring out what your
brand is and which niche you sit in. Something important to remember is that
you can always pivot and change, the main thing is that you get started.
● You don’t need a business to build a brand. I build a personal brand long before
I had any idea what my business would be, so don’t let that hold you back.

A lot of people have audience on rented platforms, very few on owned platforms.

● Most people get overwhelmed by the idea of growing an audience, but the real
talk is that it isn’t that hard… the only time it’s hard is when the first step hasn’t
been done properly.
● When you have a clear brand and you have a content system that’s working for
you, that’s when you can really start to unlock hockey stick growth.
● We use a powerful 4 step growth system (the same one that’s used by SO
many influencers) to put gaining followers on autopilot. I’ll share this later!
ACTIVATE
● Once you’ve built an influential brand and an audience of followers who know,
like and trust you, it’s time to think about activating + monetizing.
● Reminder: it’s OK if you have no idea what you’d sell yet, we have an entire
framework that’ll show you the product/service most suited to you, as well as
where to focus on.
● There are SO many ways to monetize as an influencer or creator, here are just
some of them:
● We’re so early into this space (I’ll show you that in a sec), but here’s a reminder
that you don’t need a HUGE audience to actually activate and make money.
○ It takes only 1,000 true fans to earn a living. Think about charging 1,000
people $100 per year, and you’ve got a six figure business.
● The type of audience you build matters so much more than the size of your
audience. This is where most people go wrong, so when they move into the
activation space, they struggle. I want to show you how to get it right.
ACTIVATE
● Unfortunately, a lot of people go out of business because they only focus on one
stream of revenue or traffic source.
● Now, a lot of our business is on autopilot and we get to decide where to focus.
● Most people only see a handful of the ways I monetize online, so I want to be
transparent about my different revenue sources.
● Very few people have experience in all of these areas, that’s why I’m able to
teach from this lens.

A few years ago, I discovered something that changed the game for me on Instagram and led to this:
“Viral” style content has and continues to be, no matter how the algorithm changes, the best way to gain
targeted followers and grow your account.
● For Instagram: open up pages that have followings/content (on desktop versus
mobile) very similar to yours and your ideal client, and hover over to see the
engagement.
● Save all of these viral posts to a folder, and spend time going through to understand
why they’re going viral. What do they have in common?
● Repurpose, repost or use as a learning to create similar content to see how it does.
● Analyze each post after 48 hours and create your own viral strategy.
