HISTORY OF MULTIPLEX LOBBY

 In India, the mushrooming of multiplexes since the mid

– 90’s has changed the dynamics of Indian cinema.
 India’s 1st multiplex was SAFIRE theatre complex with
3 screen (Safire, Blue diamond) in madras (now
Chennai ) started in 1964 followed by KG cinemas with
5 screens in Tamil Nadu which was inaugurated on
Diwali day, 1971.
 There have been concerns over high ticket prices ,and
the phenomena was restricted to large city’s, but Indian
cinema chains such as inbox, PVR, SPI cinemas and big
cinemas have been able to make in roads into city’s in
the world’s largest film viewing industry.

FIRE EXTINGUISHER

A fire extinguisher is an active fire protection device used to

extinguish or control small fires , often in emergency
situations . It is not intended for use on an out of control fire ,
such as one which has reached the celling , endangers the
user or otherwise requires the expertise of a fire bridge .
There are two types of fire extinguishers –
STORED PRESSURE
CARRIDGE OPERATED
In stored pressure units ,the expellant is stored in the same
chamber as the firefighting agent itself . Stored pressure is
fire extinguishers most common type .
