When/How to use Change Point Notice (CPN) date:

1 Identify when CPN is needed. Die repair or pm
requires a punch replacement

* Die repair requires the repair of a broke trim insert

that could change trim line.

Die repair requires the installation and repair of

* any new form, bend, flange, restrike, or extrusion
block/detail, that could change part quality.

Die repair requires the repair of any gauging for

* blank location or binder set/leveling blocks
Die repair requires a quality requested level-
* up,trim change, or hole location move.

How to use CPN. Obtain CPN from designated See Supervisor if CPN is not
2 areas in die shop. available.
Fill in all boxes and give detailed description of
3 change point.
Attach pictures to CPN if available, if not draw a
4 quick sketch of area worked on.
After completion of repair, place CPN securely on
5 die in designated sleeve.
