-Your past life sufferings will not determine your future.

2. As a student, how do you want to live your life?

-As a student, I want to live my life with full of happiness, integrity and peace.

3. How do you see yourself in the future?

- I can see myself living the way I deserve and be able to fulfill my obligations as a responsible
member of the community.

Guide Questions:
1. Where are you now?
-Now, I’m on the senior high level of education (Grade 11) at Camarines Norte Senior High School.
And I’m currently residing at Brgy. Caayunan, Basud, Camarines Norte.

2. What is your present role in the family? In the community?

-I’m the eldest daughter of the family whose helping out with small things like house chores and our
small business. In the community, I’m a teenager and a senior high student.

3. Where do you want to be five years from now?

- Five years from now, I don’t have the exact location where I want to live but, I still want to live inside
the province of Camarines Norte.

4. What are your plans in the future?

-My plan is to finish senior high and college. And in college, my plan is to take an exam in the PNPA
academy. And after, I plant to study medicine or be a doctor.

5. How can you get there?

-With the help of my beloved father, he’ll help me to go there and complete all the requirements.

6. What do you need to do in order to reach your goals?
-I need to have a positive mindset towards my goals and believing myself that I can achieve my goals
in life.

7. What kind of life do you dream of for yourself and your family?
- I want to live a genuine life. And for my family, I will give all the things that they deserve.

-Yes, because it will serve as my guide and direction to my desired life in the future.
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of having plans and goals for your future?

-I can set priorities. - You will be pressured.
-My life is organized and has direction. - Will experience disappointment, if goals are

3. How should you make a plan or goal for your future?

-In making plans or goals for my future, I consider my skills, talent, passion, likes and dislikes,
financial capacity and availability of other resources.

-I like to spend more time with my family, friends and myself.

-I enjoy active and passive activities with the people in my life.

-Graduate senior high level with honors. And

-Pass the entrance exam and finish college. I
am planning to study medicine. After that, I plan
to start a side business for myself and family.

-I want a career that provides service and
protection to all citizens.

What I have Learned

1. What is career planning and why is it important to me as a student?
- Career planning is like a blueprint of my life in the future. It is very important to me as a student
because, it will serve as a guide and direction for choices in life.

2. Why is career planning not a one-time decision but a series of decisions?

-It is because decisions can change over time. Time, place and events will change our decisions;
thus, we will create numerous decisions as we explore and live in this world.

3. What do I think should be considered in planning for my future career?

-My skills, talents, strengths, weaknesses, passion, financial capacity and availability of other
resources.

Share your Thoughts & Feelings

In the next 10 years, I see myself wearing such uniform; serving, helping and healing people in
my community. Ever since I was a child, I dream to be a police doctor. It may seem impossible but, I
know I can take it in the palms of my hand someday.
