General Notes For All Mechanical And Plumbing Works

All the BoQ articles comprise supplying manpower, machinery, equipment, transportation all
1 necessary requirements to get the work done properly regardless of it's mentioned in the BoQ
articles or not.
All the BoQ articles must be carried out according to guidelines of Iraqi Technical Specifications
2 with updates And International Standard
The price includes all required materials, fittings , accessories , tools , machines , instruments,
labor works with all the requirements, installation , testing and commissioning and put in
operation to get the system work properly as per international specifications , and Iraqi regulations
3 to complete the works as stated in the contract items , design drawings , details and complete the
work in all aspects.

Supplying of materials shall not be done before obtain approval on the materials type, Brand , Color
4 also the contractor should provide certificate of origin and tests result certificate for the supplied
materials
The Contractor should Submit Builder Drawing, Shop Drawing , Coordination Drawings and Obtain
8 approval on it before start any Works in the site.
9 The Contractor should submit as built Drawings for all the works
The Contractor should Submit Material Submit for all the items mentioned in the BoQ , and Obtain
approval on it before supplying any materials , and materials submittal shall include all technical
10 data sheet , Compliance statement to Iraqi standard , specifications .

The Final Location , color , brand of All Equipment's should be coordinate and approved by
11 Engineer

General Notes for HVAC Systems

The price to be quoted in the bill will be the full inclusive cost of the work specified and will include
all items and required to complete the work fully in compliance with the requirements., Such as
Volume Control Dampers , split damper , fire damper , Support , insulation , sound attenuators ,
foundation ,...etc.

Bill of quantities will be read in Conjunction with all relative as a whole.

All the items written in this section will be complete according to specification and as shown on
drawings.
The Contractor should Take in his consideration the Following :
- Submit for approvals all submittals, samples, shop drawings, inspection and the like.
- Testing and commissioning.
- Builder's work in connection with the electrical installation, including all sleeves, fire resistant
sealant etc.
- Maintenance of complete installation as specified.

Supply, install, test and commission on the following items including connection to ductworks,
refrigeration pipes, electrical connection, thermostats, controls , drain pipes, fixing in position,
complete with all needed.

The Contractor should submit ESP calculations for approval for All HAVC Units ( Ducted Concealed ,
Package Unit , Fans , Energy Recovery Units , Pressurization Fans ,…etc. .) and shall not start any
supplying for any item without approval on these Calculations.

HVAC Ductwork complete with, Volume control damper For all branch ,turning vanes, stiffeners,
splitter dampers, test holes, branch, openings, etc.
All air Outlets and Dampers should be Flowtech - UAE origin ( Grill , Diffusers, Volume control
damper , fire Damper , Motorized Damper , Slot linear diffuser , Bar grill, Louver , sand trap ,..etc. .)

shown in the drawing and local authority requirements.

Packaged cold water lifting pump set 32 IMP.GPM @ 25 M Head comprising one duty and one
standby pumps including all pipework, interconnections, valves, drains and electrical connections
1 as detailed in the specification and shown on drawings. 1.0 Set

Supply and install Insulated Pressed Sectional GI tanks 3.0X1.0X1.0 With insulation 20-30 MM as
specification and Site engineer instructions and shown on the drawings ,complete with all

Supply, install, connect and test for Booster Pump Set ( 1.4 l/s @ 20 M head ) one duty and one
