Barangay Resolution No. 22, Series of 2021

“A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND APPROVING THE BARANGAY CAPACITY

DEVELOPMENT (CAPDEV) AGENDA FOR THE PERIOD OF 2022-2024 OF
BARANGAY STA. RITA, CABIAO, NUEVA ECIJA”

WHEREAS, the Barangay Sta. Rita, Cabiao, Nueva Ecija, is committed to improved the
accountability, transparency, and effectiveness of the delivery of basic services among
constituents.

WHEREAS, the recent Supreme Court’s decision on the Mandanas-Garcia petition mandates
the full devolution of functions and services as stipulated in Section 17 of the Republic Act 7160
also known as the Local Government Code of 1991.

WHEREAS, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), through the Local
Government Academy (LGA) has developed Capacity Development Framework for LGUs that
defines the parameters for capacity assessment, planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation
of CapDev interventions that ensures the delivery of a synchronized, integrated, accessible and
attuned to the varying needs of the LGUs.

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Rodel M. Soliman duly seconded by Councilor

Jesus G. Juachon Jr. be it;

RESOLVED, as it hereby resolved, to approve the Sangguniang Barangay Resolution No. 22,
Series of 2021, also known as the RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND APPROVING THE
BARANGAY CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT (CAPDEV) AGENDA FOR THE PERIOD
OF 2022-2024 OF BARANGAY STA. RITA, CABIAO, NUEVA ECIJA.
RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of this Resolution to the Office of the Sangguniang
Bayan and the Office of the Municipal Local Government Operations Officer – DILG JESUSA
G. CRUZ for their information.
