BARANGAY RESOLUTION NO. 10

Series of 2021

“A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE BARANGAY PEACE AND ORDER AND

PUBLIC SAFETY (POPS) PLAN 2023-2025 OF BARANGAY SAN VICENTE,
KAPATAGAN, LANAO DEL NORTE AND LIKEWISE, RECOMMENDING TO THE
SANGGUNIANG BAYAN, THIS MUNICIPALITY TO ADOPT AND APPROVE THE
SAME”

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 116 of Republic Act No. 7160, also known as the Local
Government Code of 1991, and Executive Order No. 773, S. 2009 which calls for the further re-
organization of the Peace and Order Councils in every Province, city and Municipality;

WHEREAS, DILG Memorandum circular No. 2022-118 entitled Guidelines on the Formulation
of Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Plan mandates every Provincial, City, Municipal
Peace and Order Council to formulate a 3-year term-based Peace and Order and Public Safety
(POPS) Plan and which shall be incorporated in the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) of
the local government unit;
WHEREAS, the Barangay Peace and Order Council, Sangguniang Barangay Committee and
other stakeholders conducted workshop on the formulation of the Barangay Peace and Order and
Public Safety (BPOPS) Plan 2022-2024 0n November 4, 2021;

NOW THEREFORE, after due deliberation and upon motion of Kagawad Elmer R. Benlot,
duly seconded by all members present, it was

RESOLVE AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED TO APPROVE THE BARANGAY PEACE

AND ORDER AND PUBLIC SAFETY (POPS) PLAN 2023-2025 OF BARANGAY SAN
VICENTE, KAPATAGAN, LANAO DEL NORTE AND LIKEWISE, RECOMMENDING
TO THE SANGGUNIANG BAYAN, THIS MUNICIPALITY TO ADOPT AND
APPROVE THE SAME;

RESOLVE FINALLY, to furnish copies of this Resolution to all Offices concerned for
information and appropriate action.
