RESOLUTION NO. 19
Series of 2017

A REOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE 2017-2020 PEACE AND ORDER AND PUBLIC
SAFETY PLAN OF BARAMNGAY PINASLING,GERONA, TARLAC.

WHEREAS, Executive Order No. 309, Series of 1997, states that one of the functions of the
Barangay Peace and Order Committee id to “formulate plans and recommend measures which
will improve and enhance peace and order and public safety in their area of responsibility;

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 6975, otherwise known as the DILG Act of `1991, as amended,
section 51, paragraph (b) (2) provides that “the Barangay shall, in coordination with the local
peace and order council, develop and establish an integrated area/community public safety
plan embracing priorities of action and program thrusts for implementation at the local PNP
station”;

WHEREAS, with general public safety in mind and in order to institutionalized action and
program thrusts regarding peace and order of the Barangay Government and Gerona Police
Station, the Barangay Peace and Order and Public Safety Plan of Pinasling, Gerona, Tarlac
2017-2020 needs to be adopted;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Manuel C. Arciaga, Punong Barangay and duly seconded
by all Sangguniang Barangay members present, be it,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve and adopt the BARANGAY PEACE AND
ORDER AND PUBLIC SAFETY (BPOPS) PLAN 2017-2020 OF PINASLING, GERONA, TARLAC.
RESOLVED FINALLY, that the copy of this BPOPS PLAN be forwarded to the Office of the
Sangguniang Bayan and Department of the Interior and Local Government for their
information and guidance.

I hereby certify that the above -quoted resolution was unanimously approved and adopted by this body
this 30th day of September, 2017.
