VIDEO REVIEW ASSESSMENT GUIDELINES (15%)

Duration of Assessment : 3-5 minutes

Preparation of Assessment : 2 weeks

Mode : Individual

Topic : Review of food / games (mobile or online) / movie /

make-up / unboxing products / books / shoes /

videos (eg. YouTube videos) / advertisement/

drama / health care products / news / restaurants

Allocation of Marks : 15% (refer to Video Review Marking Scheme / rubrics)

Mode of Implementation : Language Input, Practice & Assessment

Tasks : 1. The freedom is given in choosing the topic from the


list provided by the committee.
2. The script should be prepared beforehand.

3. The content of your video review has to be proper and


appropriate.

4. The purpose of reviewing is either to inform/ describe/


analyse/ criticise/ persuade or advise.

Conditions Video Review (15%)

A. Objectives 1. Can follow much of what is said by him/her on the chosen topic

2. Can express his/her thoughts about the chosen topics


3. Can give brief comments and discussion on the chosen topic

4. Can compare and contrast alternatives

B. Items 1. Student is assessed individually

2. Each student can choose a product/topic to review

3. Each student is given 3-5 minutes to review a product/topic

4. Each student need to speak in the video

5. Each student need to be featured in the video

C. Propositional Review of Food/ Games (mobile or online)/ Movie/ Make-up/
