Objectives: At the end of the class discussion, the learners should be able to:
 demonstrate an understanding on the origin of the 35 Barangays of City of San Fernando,
Pampanga
 write an essay promoting their respective Barangay; its festivals, products, and well-known
citizens
 appreciate the importance of the history of our Barangays in the modern days.

Review of the past Lesson City of San Fernando Pampanga Timeline Brief
History

Checking the prior knowledge of the class on the

different Barangays of City of San Fernando,
Pampanga using images of its well-known places
or products. (Ok Karin! Okarin?)

 Four (4) pictures will be flashed on

screen. The learners will guess the
Barangay using the clue pictures. Anyone
who wants to answer should raise his/her
hand virtually first and must wait to be
 recognized before unmuting his/her mic
and giving his/her answer.

EXPLAIN
The learners will be given time to share their
knowledge about their Barangay. They can add
information about their Barangay Patron Saint,
Barangay Officials and products.

After sharing, the teacher will add other

necessary information about the topic.
ELABORATE
Some of the learners will make their
generalization about the lesson. They will
discuss to the class the things they have
learned about the topic. Moreover, the
importance of the history of our Barangays in the
modern days will be discussed too.
EVALUATE
The learners will be given ten (10) minutes to
write a short essay promoting their respective
Barangay, its festivals, products, and well-
known citizens.
EXTEND
Answer the following:
1. Is religion is important in governing a society?
Why or why not?
