CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION

The experience I gained in this work immersion gave me a lot of other


knowledge and ideas that I didn’t know before. This work immersion certainly
gave me more excited about programming to learn deep and hard. This work
immersion pumps my curiosity to study hard as I can, to believe that anyone had
done before the so I can also.
The importance of learning in this work immersion is created another five
percent of me that can use in future for knowledge. This things works out when
I’m doing this because I always happy when doing this and I’ve never felt that
this thing was boring and I also see myself that I always want to do this thing.

COMPANY PROFILE

First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities

FAITH Colleges (First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities) is an


institution of higher learning and research located in Tanauan City, Batangas. Since its
inception on 08 September 2000, FAITH Colleges is envisioned to be a premier
educational organization in the high-growth region south of Metro Manila. It is
committed to the pursuit of a culture of academic excellence as well as social and
environmental awareness in the community it serves, and to actively undertake
research in science, technology, and the humanities, linking academe and industry for a
seamless transition from education to employment.

College of Computing and Information Technology

The College of Computing and Information Technology (CCIT) of First Asia


Institute of Technology and Humanities has endeavored to further strengthen its
educational system to remain relevant in today’s highly competitive environment, and at
the same time responsive to the needs of the industry. To realize this, the CCIT recently
restructured its academic philosophy to reflect what students should learn upon
completing a program, and what they should attain after a few years after graduation.

The programs under the College of Computing and Information Technology are
designed to provide the student with a comprehensive academic foundation balanced
with relevant, hand-on experience through a well-thought on-the-job training program,
exposure trips, and seminars.

This chapter shows the day-to-day tasks and jobs of the trainee. This will also show the
areas where the trainee was assigned as well as their function and duties.

this chapter discusses the summary gained competencies and achieved learning
outcomes by the trainee throughout the duration of the on-the-job training.

- COMPETENCIES IN WORKLOAD

PERSONAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILL

- The personal and interpersonal skill enhances myself to be productive every day
and to work hardly everytime. It enhance also my communication skills and be
better to help or group with other to be more competence in doing a work and be
productive because you have guys at your back to support each other work
through communication and hardwork.

COMPANY EVALUATION AS A TRAINING GROUND

- I really recommended this company because its suitable workplace to be a


training ground for student – trainee for work immersion also the supervisor is
very approachable and kind.

ADVICE TO FUTURE STUDENT-TRAINEE

- I can totally advice to future student – trainee is just enjoy the work immersion
because if you love your work you will do it perfectly and nicely to prove that
you’re a suitable for that work.
